Operating a vessel efficiently in compliance with environmental, statutory requirements today requires a wide scope of expertise and experience. We strive to operate all managed vessels in the safest and most efficient manner possible to meet the requirements of shipowners, flag states, port states, class societies, charterers and other stakeholders in full compliance with IMO’s International Safety Management Code.

Our Ship Management Centres

MARS’s ship management services are provided to customers around the world from 11 Ship Management Centres (SMCs) located in key shipping hubs. Each SMC is led by a managing director and follows the same structure, processes and standards. The vessel operations are managed by fleet teams comprising experts in technical, nautical, crewing and commercial functions. Our fleet teams and operations are supported and monitored by a Loss Prevention, Safety Quality (LPSQ) team, an independent internal audit and incident investigation function.
